Rogers Communications finalised its acquisition of the remaining 37.5 percent stake in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment from Kilmer Sports for $4.35 billion.
The deal turns Rogers the sole owner of MLSE.
This move broadens Rogers' control over the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, and various teams within the company's franchise portfolio.
Multiple outlets confirmed the completed transaction on Monday.
Rogers earlier kept a primary stake in MLSE alongside Kilmer Sports.
