Residents close to Ottawa experienced deafening explosions late Thursday night.
The blasts were traced from leftover Canada Day fireworks.
Abandoned fireworks from July 1 exploded by Lemieux Island.
Officials verified the incident.
Another blast took place at Bluesfest’s kick‑off night.
Leftover shells went off there as well.
Nobody was hurt and no damage reported was reported.
