BYD has halted production of its cheapest electric car after poor demand prompted the move. Even with its affordability, sales stayed very low all year, so the manufacturer pulled the plug. At present, no plan has been revealed to replace it yet.
The brand then debuted eight fresh models at the motor show. The collection featured a small city runabout to larger SUVs and crossovers. Attendees and journalists in the UK turned out in big numbers to see the new cars on display.
